  1. My surgery is on Thursday and I am terrified that my liver won't be shrunk enough for the surgery. No judging please, I tried to stick to grilled chicken and eggs but I haven't had as many protein shakes as I should have. Plus I've had whataburger like 3 times. Anyway, I'm just being honest. Has anyone sucked at the preop diet but still had a successful surgery? I still clear liquids only on the 26th and I'm going to try and get as much protein in as I can before then.

  6. I am going with dr Elias Ortiz from a lighter me. They have great reviews and a Facebook group where you can ask questions and the Drs are part of the group so they can answer questions too sometimes.

  10. I'm trying to decide which would work better for me, gastric bypass or the sleeve. I'm about 5'3 and 251 pounds. I found a weight loss calculator online that said that based on my height and weight I can expect to weigh 172 lbs after gastric sleeve which to me sounds great because it's a lot better than my current weight but it's not where I want to be. The same calculator says that I could expect to weight 152 with gastric bypass which sounds a lot better but the sleeve is safer so I'm kind of stuck between the two ????
  11. Is anyone else set to have surgery in October? My surgery date is October 1st in Tijuana with alighter me :-)
