  2. Had my 3 month check up yesterday, lost total of 90lbs! Surgeon said I was more than halfway to my goal!!
  3. Had my 3 month check up yesterday. Lost 90 lbs and the surgeon says I am more than half way to my goal! I hadn't realized that! So happy with my sleeve!!
  4. One of my co workers tried to feed me! I politely said no thank you, but he kept pushing his fork toward me. I changed the subject and moved further away. It seems so odd to make someone feel bad for having with friends, but not eating.
  5. Just ended my first stall. It wasn't long but hard mentally. Sleeved June 8th. Total weight loss 79lbs, post op 55lbs. I had a few pics of lettuce with my meal tonight, never thought I would miss lettuce! It was so good! School started today, so my washing and activity is crazy high.
  6. I used wax paper between them and put them in a Ziploc one cooled. Now they are REALLY soft. I think I am going to leave the bag open. I did toasted one today for breakfast with an egg. Not bad:23 calories .5 carbs 1.5 fat 2.3 protein
  7. Even even I have my bottle, I run out quickly when it is hot. I have never purchased so many bottles of water in my life! Since surgery, it seems I care more about always having cold water than food
  8. I was thinking garlic bread also! Also nice to eat with chili I hope!
  9. It's a flourless protein bread. Found it on Pinterest.Includes: Eggs Cream of Tatar Low fat cream cheese Packet of Stevia It is like a sandwich thin. I made them tonight (really easy) and will try then tomorrow for lunch. Going to cut one in half and make a sandwich.
  10. I had no problem telling anyone who asked, I have nothing to hide!
  11. I just made oopsie bread, we shall see in the am...lol
  12. Too funny, tonight at dinner, I just had a few bites of chicken from my hubbys meal. I wanted to have a few gains of rice. We ended up having a fork fight! It was all in good fun, but dang! I ended up with two gains...he then did the stomach exploding motion. I'm married to a supportive comedian.
  13. How are you able to get 1000 calories? I can not seen to get over 650-700 each day.
  14. My hubby can't keep his hands of me!
  15. I was sleeved 6/8, and still have to have a shake to hit my protein levels. I drink it in between each meal. I do not snack, my NUT says it is not necessary. I hate forcing food when I am not hungry (which I never am). I was told that in a few months, I will be able to eat enough ounces at eat meal to get all my protein from food and I can forget the shakes. Right now, I'm done after 1.5oz.
  16. Yeah, I have some worries going back to work Friday. I hope I can hang until 7th period with enough energy to survive. My water will be in my hand the entire day...hopefully I can get my fluids this way
  17. The stall will end, keep doing what you're supposed to. Maybe stop weighing for a few days?
  18. Today marks my first 50lbs lost since surgery on 6/8! Total of 74lbs (pre op and post op).
  19. Today marks my first 50lbs lost since surgery on 6/8! Total of 74lbs (pre op and post op).
  20. Today marks my first 50lbs lost since surgery on 6/8! Total of 74lbs (pre op and post op).
  21. Today marks my first 50lbs lost since surgery on 6/8! Total of 74lbs (pre op and post op).
  22. I am 7 weeks out. I can do 3oz of cottage cheese or yogurt, but only 1.5oz of dense protein (chicken, beef, etc)
  23. Went out to dinner tonight at a restaurant. Once I sat in the booth, I started to giggle....I had room! I don't mean a little, I mean, I looked down and saw my lap! 4 inches between me and the table!!! Before surgery, I was almost stuck in this same booth. I was giggling during the entire meal. My husband said he took me to this restaurant to show me what I can't see ask the time.
  24. I actually enjoy cooking for my husband, now more than ever. I usually cook something with a protein I can eat. If not, I have 2oz frozen proteins in the freezer. I have been experimenting with different meals for him, learning to size down his meals. I think for me if is a way to be around food but not eat it. It actually is very calming and fun for me. If I need to taste something I shouldn't have, he either tests it if he is home our I taste and spit.
  25. Yes, I still can only eat 1.5 oz of solid food. If I eat to fast, I don't get the full feeling. For me that is a air bubble (burp). Just make sure u take ur time eating.
