  1. Hi, I had my VSG on May 6. I would love to hear from some of my fellow May sleevers... How are you doing now?
  2. Hi, I am new to the forum. I was sleeved May 6, and just feel like I haven't lost much weight - I'm only down 16lb. since the surgery. I don't know if this is common or not
  3. I am doing great, thanks! It's almost scary how normal I feel. I can tolerate any type and consistency of food. I definitely am eating much less, however, my weight loss seems to be stalled. I have lost 16lbs since surgery and honestly was hoping for a bit more. My aches and pains have been gone since about week 3 but still feel like I should proceed with caution when lifting/working out...just mainly walking.
  4. Yes, Babbs, it was lower than most. It was 35. I had the surgery for health reasons, (diabetes and hypertension). I am not per say measuring my food but definitely eating Protein first and getting my Fluid in.
  5. I'm really not exercising much...just getting up and walking around more

    April 20 Sleevers Progress

Hi Lellashine, I too have been slow losing. I was sleeved on May 6 and have only lost about 16lb. to date (that's just a little over 2 lb. a week). I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or right and didn't know if this is normal? How are you doing now?
  7. Thanks for the supporting words... I guess I am just worried that I am able to eat regular food already and am wanting to eat more and more. I have no problems with any food and just don't want to let that get out of control! I see others losing 30-40 lbs. by 5 weeks. I know I cant compare myself to others, just wondering if any others have had a slow start?
