  1. I'm new to this. I started this journey in February of this year. I have attended all of the required nutrition appointments as well as the other required tests my doctor ordered. My last appointment before submission to the insurance company for approval is July 2nd. I am having a difficult time deciding between the sleeve and Roux en Y. I have a BMI of 43 and high blood pressure, sleep apnea, GERD/ Acid reflux, as well as osteoarthritis and knee/joint pain. I have friends that are constantly telling me I am just too lazy and am looking for the easy way out as well as others saying because I weigh 258, I not "big" enough for surgery. I've heard that this is the best site for non-conditional support. Hopefully I can get help with choosing the best surgery for me as well as finding the best protein and vitamin supplements.
