    Hello :-)

Hi Nikki, I am not too far from you in Surrey. I am due my sleeve on Saturday. I have been through similar thoughts and emotions to you but my main worry is the procedure. Not worried about failing to loose the weight, this will happen. I have spoken to many people who have had this done. Mostly, they say they have one regret.......that they didn't do it sooner!! There are some lovely members in the UK on here whom are at different stages that can offer you support and advice. Private message me to keep in touch if you like.

  8. Hello @@Soodoo . I haven't seen the dietician yet. My surgeon said I only need to go on it for a week , my bmi is 35. I was surprised and he said really he could do my op without me doing the diet. He explained they use a tool to lift the liver out of the way whilst they do their thing to the stomach. This is where some of the pain comes in because of the liver being moved but he said he will inject lots of local anaesthetic! As soon as I know about the pre op diet, I will let you know.

    NHS or Self Funded

Hello. I am planned to self fund and have a date of 22/8/15 for surgery. I live in Surrey. First time I have put anything on this site as I find it a little confusing as would prefer discussions just with UK members. regards,
