  1. Here Here Gibson!!!! I am photo shy too!!!
  2. You are probably super swollen and need to stay on strict liquids right after your fills. The fill sometimes is not felt to be restricted for 1-2weeks later. At that point, you are used to eating more foods because you were loose and due for a fill so you need to go back to the basics.
  3. Wow!! You look beautiful. Amazing, and doing marathons. That is sooo great...
  4. Wow!! I wish I could get motivated. I was exercising daily and fell off the wagon.
  5. The shoes are also sold in Foot Locker. There is a band across the mid part of the foot that helps to hold it on too. It is supposed to help with plantar fascitis and heel spur syndromes and tight achilles tendons. Very cute also come in pink, red black.I am contemplating a pair. Why not let my muscles work hard for me when I am just walking around???
  6. Crystal, wtg!!! Soon the t shirt will be a minidress. Keep up the great work.
  7. Wow! JAxbANDSTER!! You look great. I am trying to increase my exercise and have to make more time for myself during the day. I am also between sizes and it can be very frustrating. A lot of misses don't accommodatethe pannus.
  8. Wow!!! You look totally awesome. Very motivating. Thanks for the inspiration.
  9. Ezma, What a great loss. Congratulations. When I stalled, I went back to protein shakes in the am, light lunches and fish for dinner with vegetables and didn't watch anything I ate on the weekend dinners. I still watched lunches and breakfasts though. I found that by taking in different and of course some higher calories during the weekends, it jolted my plateaus and stagnancy and I lost more.
  10. Welcome Erica and Lisa!!!! Sounds like you are heading in the right direction. Just think, those are not pounds gained. Add a half hour of exercise into the food changes and you'll see yourself pass the plateau. I was stagnant for a while too.Remember slow and steady......
  11. Wow!! And loads of congratulations to you. Good advice for some of us struggling withe those last few pounds too to Onderland.:tongue2:
  12. Wow! What a great loss your having.Good luck and welcome back.I missed reading your posts.
  13. Glouster, Why the unfill in April. Was there a problem with your band?
  14. Hi! Becca. Welcome back. You look great!!
  15. I have noticed a little moe hair in my brush daily. I do get enough protein. Have you tried eas fortress proyein shakes. Two scoops are 52 gm of protein.Vanilla has great flavor no aftertaste.
  16. How about bagbalm or Balmex natural healing protective cream, it is the one without the zinc oxide. The one with the zinc oxide is for diaper rash. Butt paste is another cream to try.
  17. DEFINITELY move up your fill date. Whenever you feel that you're losing restriction, move it up. I made that misstake of waiting and boy I wish I was restricted after my first fill!!! I exercised like a maniac because I was taking in soooo many calories and I didn't want to gain weight.I was actually feeling ravenous and it scared me.
  18. Is your belly Swollen? Are you ever dizzy or lightheaded???
  19. Sending som love out to you all.I have been busy with work. You are all doing so well. I need to step up the exercise but havent made the time hs week. I need toget back into the routine. It made me feel great
  20. I was at work today when someone finally asked how much weight I had lost. It is very noticable now and I am out of xs and into XLs. I was shocked whe I put on some really old work clothes and it wasn't that they fit, they had room to spare. It felt great.I am working myself up to buying a new bathing suit for the summer. it is a great idea to get rid of the big big clothes. in the past I kept them and when I gained, I started to wear them again.
  21. Yaaawza!!:eek:I know that feeling all to well. When I am starving or distracted while eating and someone asks me a question with my mouth full sometimes I swallow so I can answer and i forget to chew and then Kaboom. Pressure and I am Pbing and remember why to chew chew chew.
  22. Good Luck to you both. I have a friend who had the same problem and she waited a year to do anything about it. It is a good thing you are correcting this right away. She told me when she finally did it, she wished she did it sooner, because she was unable to exercise and lose weight because of the lack of fills and pains
  23. Malby, Yes. My doctor says it is normal for the port to ove with changing positions. mine is easily felt when standing but goes about one inch below my incision when I lie down for a fill. Weird, isn't it.
  24. Don't get down on yourselves. Remember the NSVs!!! Remember how you looked and felt before your surgery. Good! Now keep it close and restart at the beginning with the liquids , shakes and mushies and increase your daily exercise. Remember when you could only walk a little and had to stop??? Keep up the great work and concentrate on the NSvs right now and change what your are noticing to be old or bad habits. The band is our tool and you need to use it as such. But you control how successful it can be.Daily slips are ok, just remember to restart at the basics and get back on track. Good luck. Keep us posted
  25. Wow Tapshoes,Well put. The band is the best tool we gave ourselves. Here, Here!!!!
