  1. My parents and siblings don't agree or feel I need the surgery but have respected my decision. Wish you the best on your journey.
  2. My surgery day is right around the corner. I'm both nervous and excited. I'm nervous about all the cons I read about such as gas, hair loss, etc. I know its all temporary so it won't be too bad I'm sure. I'm excited because this is a kick start to a healthier and fit ME! I've had 4 children and I've struggled losing weight over the past few years. After researching WLS for 1 1/2 years I've opted to go with the sleeve rather than the lap band. I'm 5'2 and my HW was 237. My CW is 224. I've always been active but I wasn't able to drop the weight as easy from my last two pregnancies. My ultimate goal is to become a certified fitness instructor :-)
