Releasing the gas during the procedure?

Hi! The gas is the worst part of the whole surgury! I am 4 days out and have the most awful feeling of trapped gas in my shoulder and stomach. The cuts and staples feel like nothing compared to the gas. I take the gas dissolvable strips and walk but, all of the burping in the world wont get all of the gas out! -
Oh my God!!! I had my surgury on 12/20 and I have the same problems but, I also have lots of air/gas in me that hurts like hell.
