  1. That's good. In my last visit, I lost a couple of pounds. I was submitted on Tuesday morning.
  2. Congratulations ! !
  3. Congratulations !! That's good news and kind of a relieve. I hope I get approved like you guys without worrying about the two year history thing.
  4. I am a student here in the US, so there isn't much to provide. I might have history records back in 2013 but my BMI was definitely less than 35. I do have history records in 2014 when I started weight loss surgery process.
  5. How strict are they about the two year weight history? I don't have one and I am afraid that I will be denied.
  6. I read one of your posts that you gained weight during the 3 month diet. Did you lose the gained weight in your last visit? I have a similar situation but my last visit I gained ond pound. I was submitted and I am scared I will get denied for this.
  7. I am in the exact opposite situation. I have a surgery date but still waiting for insurance approval.
  8. Mine is on July 16th but still waiting for approval.
  9. Thanks I hope I get approved and not worry about all that stuff because school comes first and I just can't afford failing my classes.
  10. Hello all I am scheduled for July 16th to have my VSG, but I still have my doubt that I will be denied. If I do get denied, maybe I will have to fight them for like a month which then the Fall semester will begin. I am an engineering student going to senior year this fall, do you recommend having the surgery during the semester as I can only take a week off until I go back to school?
  11. I finished the three month supervised diet, unfortunately I gained one pound. Would this little gain get me denied ?
  12. Congratulations ! ! Mine is July 16th, still waiting for insurance company approval though.
  13. Can you explain more? I gained one pound in my last visit, will this affect the approval process ?
  14. I had the same situation a year and a half ago. My BMI was 36, my doctor told me you are healthy and Aetna won't cover the surgery. I stopped going to my doctor, but this year I have a BMI of 40, so I went back to him and now I am in the process of the approval . I guess you can find a doctor with payment plan or you should do it in Mexico . If you are gaining weight crazy like I did, maybe you should weight till you have a BMI of 40, but I DO NOT recommend you to purposely gain weight just to get a BMI of 40.
  15. Thank you everyone @@jhclikesshopping@gmail.com I hear we are supposed to take acid reflux medicine for six months till the stomach is used to the amount of acid, after that everything will be ok and you will not need to use acid medecine.
  16. Hello all, I am new to the forum. My surgery date should be in mid-July. I read a lot of stories about Acid reflux and GERD, and I am really scared. I never had any problems with Acid reflux but I am worried that I will after surgery. Any advice? Comments?
  17. I am an international student here, I am planning to tell my brother only just in case something goes wrong. Almost everyone I know disapprove of the surgery. I suffered a lot with my weight, surgery is kinda my last resort, so I don't think it is the easy way out.
