I am having surgery for Carpal Tunnel on this week, and the pre-op nurse also said that he is a really great doctor and very good looking as well. Hi ! ! I have read a lot of imformation about the lap band it seems like the obesity surgery that will best fit me. My problem is my employer is self insured and does not cover the surgery even after letters from 5 doctors stating that I should have the surgery and why. I'm morbidly obease and have both a thyroid and adult growth hormone problem which keeps me from losing the weight. Does anyone know if there are any agencies that can help me in the funding the cost of the procedure. I just do not have that kind of money laying around at this time. I would appreciate any comments at all.
