I was addicted to my morning cup of black coffee from McDonald's. Seven days a week a large black coffee. I couldn't wait to have some so ordered a small one day and it was so gross I wasn't able to finish it. At least now I know this is something I can live without going forward. I would love to hear more stories of food taste changes post surgery. I was told this would happen and I find it fascinating.
My husband, children and family members have been very supportive. However my BFF is very unhappy I had the surgery and is not supportive. She is approx 150 pounds overweight. I'm not sure what to make of it and she does not want to talk about it. All I know is that I have no regrets and no one will keep from my weight loss goal!
I'm going to travel for two days by car to get to a vacation destination. We used to drive thru McDonald's to get a quick lunch and keep driving. I looked at the menu and don't see any great options. I'm trying not to eat bread right now. I've thought about just sticking with a protein drink for the lunch meal. Anyone have any suggestions for food options on the road?
I was sleeved on May 6 and yes it is hard work but I finally have results. I would always give up before because the results were always so disappointing. I'm post menopausal and hypothyroid so I have the metabolism of a slug. Losing weight now just spurs
me on!! I'm so happy I had the sleeve done. What a wonderful weight loss tool.
