  4. Hello, this is my first time posting joined today. I am married to a great guy for over 30 years, have two grown children. I work full time outside the home, also have 3 grandchildren one is an 8 month old that's so sweet and really active. I have been fat most of my life, have lost 135 lbs at one time, used to go to the gym, walk, etc. Then hurt my knees, had to have surgery and mostly downhill since. Kept thinking I could lose the weight on my own but only successful of 20-30 lbs. Researched gastric sleeve and finally decided to have the surgery because having so much pain in my knees and back. My orthopaedic doc says i need to lose 100 lbs before he will operate and do a knee replacement. I am on my way, 6 weeks out from surgery. Will finally one day go shopping without hurting and go camping again
