  3. I had surgery 3-18-15, I have lost since February 1st, I was originally going to have surgery 2-1115, but had gotten bronchitis . Anyway I have lost 52lbs. But for some reason I feel like I am at a stand still . I went to surgeon last week and got first fill 2cc's. I had only lost 3lbs. In Aprox 5 weeks . I am not going to quit , but I actually feel like I can eat more now then before the fill, only the 2nd day it was hard to get things down. I eat a lot of soft foods ,eggs, yougurt, oatmeal I do eat chicken like every night vegetables salad . What am I doing wrong ? ?? And if I can just help 1 person , don't tell anyone that u are getting banded. All I hear how much did you lose now ? Do you exercise ? Ect.big mistake , only should have told spouse andchild. Everyone else is just nosy . The biggest mouth of anyone , is my mom. It's to late for me not to mention it . I feel like a failure losing 3lbs. Certainly not saying that . I get frustrated trying to explain how it works , that it's up to me,the band is :(a tool. They are all under the impression that you will drop it because of the band. Getting fed up !
  4. Hi everyone , I found this site when I was looking around for other people's experience . I had lapband surgery 3-18-15. I have lost 5 lbs as of this a.m. I have not had a fill yet . I think I need one , I see the Dr on the 11th . On 2-1-15 I started the liquid diet , I was originally scheduled for 2-11-15, I ended up with bronchitis so obviously it was post phoned . I lost 26 lbs on my own , by my 3-18, surgery . I have seen the Dr two times so far . She felt I didn't need a fill on 8 weeks out. I am getting frustrated , I have really only last 52lbs with the band . And I am doing everything I am supposed to . I will never give up , and I think it was the right choice . But I don't understand if I am only having at the most 900 calories a day , and I really try with the protein to get 60-80 mg. I usually only get about 50mg. I use my fit bit religiosily. I really think I should be at least another 52lbs down by now . I exercise , I am stuck for the last month up & down the same 3-5 lbs. Very discouraging . Any advice ? ?
  5. I thought it was me. I had mine 3/18/15. I have not had a fill yet . My Dr said that I was losing 31/2 lbs,a week average . So only the small amount that was originally in there. But I never in my life experienced so much gas. I told her and she didn't even answer me about it .
  6. Re above type o, lost 26 lbs before surgery
