  9. I finally got a surgery date. After taking classes from June 2015 to September 2015 I couldn't get surgery because my glucose A-1 C was too high and as of today I finally got a surgery date 05/26/2016 yay!!! Is there any others scheduled in May Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. I'm in the same boat, I started my journey on June 17th at the time my A1c was 13. My Doctor put me on Levimer and Humalog along with taking Metformin and Juanvia. My A1c went down to 11 but I still have to get it to 10 or below before surgery. So Im like oh goodness. I completed all my requirements so this is my only hold up. I choose to be referred to an endroinlogst and that appointment is next week.

  14. Has anybody had a high A1c before surgery? My doctor just called to inform me and has changed me to two insulins. She said this will help with getting my A1c lowered so I can get surgery
  15. Hey guys, I had my psych evaluation on Wednesday in which I passed so on to the next step and that's my PCP appointment for my ekg and blood work

  18. Hey guys, I went for my first initial consultation yesterday. I have booked all of my appointments and my Doctor said I should be looking at the end of September early October for surgery. I'm sooo excited
