    I wish someone had told me that there is a mourning period for never being able to eat like you did. My surgeon told me he could take care of the "belly hunger" but not the "brain hunger". That is something I deal with every day. I have NO REGRETS in getting the surgery.

    I had my gastric sleeve done in August 2014, one month shy of turning 65 and have done great!!
