  1. I am 59 and having surgery tomorrow. I am so excited to met the new me. I want to play in the floor with my grandchildren, ride water rides again, and just have fun. I have worked hard, raised wonderful children, have great grandkids, and have a wonderful husband. I wnt to be around for a long time. I know if I do not change my life FOREVER I will not be here. Now it is time for ME! I am self pay also, I just keep telling myself that I am worth it.
  2. My surgery is May 26, tomorrow and am on clear liquids now. I think green sugar free jello is so bad. Way to sweet. I guess it will be broth all day. So glad to be getting this done. At times I wonder if I have made the right decision. I am sure I will regret it later in the week. But will try to keep my eye on the prize. The prize being a healthier, happier, thinner me.
  3. My surgery is also on the 26th. I have been on the pre-op diet for two weeks and start clear liquids in the morning. I have my jello, broth, and popsicles all ready to eat. I will be glad to get the next four weeks behind me. Very worried about getting in all of the water and protein. Best of luck to everyone. Praying that Tuesday is a great day for surgery.
