  1. Thank you! I got discouraged because I've been reading others' surgery stories and all the ones I've read so far began losing weight the week of surgery.
  2. I had the gastric sleeve surgery 4 days ago on Wednesday morning. I have been following an all liquid diet since Sunday before the surgery. I am walking every hour and drinking water, clear protein drinks (isopure) and sugar free Popsicles. I weighed 227 at my pre-op appointment and I weight 230 today. Is this normal? My doctor also repaired a hiatal hernia and that pain and the gas pain have been intense at times but getting better. I'm just getting really discouraged. I know it's only 4 days out but I haven't eaten solid food in a week and I've gained weight!!
