  1. Hello all. I'm still in the very first stages of research. United Healthcare PPO of NY will cover 80% after $1100 deductible, with a "letter of medical necessity". My PCP is on board with my decision; so we are now waiting for Jenny Craig to send my most recent weight history to my Doctor. The only problem is that my family and I are getting ready to move to Florida, so I sort of need to put the next steps on hold until we've settled in and found a new PCP who can highly recommend a barriactric surgeon to take me through the rest of the steps until my surgery date. I wonder if it's more expensive in NY than in FL??? Maybe I should try to get it done here. Does anyone have any advice?
