  1. you're not supposed to drink out of a straw so be careful!
  2. I live on the westbank. Let me know if you'd like to chat.
  3. Yep. Jello too. I've got to get more protein in. That's my big struggle right now
  4. Me! My cousin had it a week before me and she says it goes away but I'm dying. I can't even take a fulfilling drink of water. I've tried to eat refried beans but it also gave me the need to burp feeling. It doesn't last long but it happens with every drink or bite. I have been eating sugar free jello.
  5. That's what my stats are too! Well I was 244lbs. But I'm 5'5. My first day and a half were miserable. I didn't know if I was going to make it lol. My pain is very much tolerable now. I was sleeved on Monday the 18th. So I'm only 3 days out. I'm so excited about what this is going to do to my life. I got the hardest part done in my opinion. I have gotten to where I thought I was hungry but the feeling went away quickly. I'm getting to start my protein shakes tomorrow but I'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet. I may stick with the clear liquids and clear protein a few more days. My current weight is 233lbs. I think I'd be less if they hadn't pumped me with so much fluid. I had to stay an extra day because of the pain I was in and the throwing up. It was horrible! My husband and I want children so that's why I got this done. I have pcos and it has totally wrecked my body. I'll be praying for all of you! Good luck in your journeys.
  6. Yeah I feel so much better today. I can't wait to be normal again though lol. It'll be here soon.
  7. Whew, I had the worst time after my surgery Monday the 18th of May. I was hurting all over kept throwing up and couldn't get rid of the gas trapped in my body. It was miserable but I'm doing good today. I had to stay an extra night in the hospital because of my pain and vomiting. Things burned as I tried to drink. I have a low tolerance for pain. I know this will all be worth it. I just hope I get healthy enough to start my own family. This PCOS has kicked our butt for years. Any questions, just ask! Good luck to everyone!
  8. Mine was okay. It was hard giving up sodas but I haven't had one since I started this so I'm super proud of myself.
  9. My surgery is scheduled for Monday the 18th. I'm super nervous but know it will all be worth it. I only fear I won't lose like I expect to. Only time will tell. The two week prep has been tough for me. I haven't had one soda since I started the prep. And only eating one meal a day when my stomach is still normal sized is hard. I do the protein shakes. Those help a lot and I'm very blessed with a supportive husband but ahhhhh! I'm ready to get the surgery over with and start my family when the time is right. I have pcos and it's miserable to deal with. It has caused me a lot of grief and has me infertile. Prayers needed and I'll be praying for you all as well. Keep in touch!
  10. Has anyone used Dr. Treen at West Jeff in Marrero?
