  5. About ten weeks here. I had lost 52 pounds before the surgery in about five months and I am 38 pounds down since the surgery for a total of ninety pounds this year. I am losing much slower than most of the post surgery people, but I feel good and have been able to get back to working out in the pool. Looks like I will lose about 2-3 pounds per week and I can live with that. The other day my daughter and I were carrying a box into the house that weighs about a hundred pounds and we were struggling a bit with it. Afterwards I made the comment that I had been carrying around that box all by myself for the past few years. Really puts it into perspective..... I had to have my gall bladder removed about week five and it was harder to get over that than the original surgery- but now it all looks rosy........
  6. Anyone else have gallbladder problems post sleeve? At four weeks out (last week) I ended up in the hospital with acute pancreatitis and they removed my gallbladder last Friday. Starting to bounce back now. I had already lost 50 pounds in about four months prior to surgery and I have been told that might have contributed to the problem. I was just about ten days into working out in the pool again when this happened, so that has been put on a hold for another week or two until my NEW incisions heal. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and how long it took to really get back on track again....Thank you!
  7. I had my surgery on May 19th. Cannot begin to say high enough praises for the facility, staff, doctors, etc. It is a first rate facility and they treat you like royalty. There is a Facebook group that is just for patients of the facility. If you are interested in joining email me privately at ladyluckfarm@aol.com and I can add you to the group.
  8. I live in Bruceville, Texas (just below Waco) and I am going to Mexico to get 'sleeved' (love that term)!on the 19th. I am going to Alameter Hospital. Would love to stay in tough during this journey......
