  3. I am in a similar boat, i am considering having a baby, i am post op 3 months, and when i suggested to my parents we were thinking of having a baby, they said the same thing " why you just had surgery to loss the weight, why gain it all back" and my response was: i am not going to gain it all back, i am different now and my body is different now. The surgery helped me with a lifestyle change NOT a diet, and i am not going back to that old life. My husband and i still haven't yet decided if we are going to have a baby, but i am interested in following this post so i can learn more about what is really needed from a nutrient stand point and how to manage the weight & weight loss. Call it Preemptive planning. Best of luck to you all and happy parenting!!!!!
