  3. Hi, I am 56, almost 5 weeks out and doing great. I also have health issues. Arthritis in knees, feet, hip, and spine. Drs. wanted to replace a knee, but it is feeling ok. My back still hurts some but tolerable. I am down 20 lbs. I have worked in a factory for 36 yrs and have 9 to go. I'm sure the weight loss will make it better.
  4. Dr appt today 2 weeks out and down 28 lbs. He said I could start working out and using weights after 4-6 weeks at the gym. For now walking 30-45 min. Every day.

  6. I will be starting back to work 1 week from today, hope to rebuild some strength before. Have appt. with surgeon this Thursday, will talk to him about it.
  7. I am 4/17! Also wondering when I can start strength training at gym. Have been walking on treadmill everyday since 4/20. Surgery went great. Feeling good.
