Had my surgery done by Dr. Quinlin at St Margarets. Also I attend a support group every third Thursday at 7:00. You should attend. Its in Hammarville. Nice to hear from a fellow Steeler fan

I was banded 12/06/2007 and am down 41 pounds. I met with my doctor last Friday expecting my first fill. However he said I was doing great and to come back in two months and start on solid foods. I feel like I have the confidence to eat more and though I'm still losing. . . It's very slow now. I have not had any ill effects at all. At what weight loss rate do they determine to fill?

I started my pre-op December 1, had my surgery December 6. I made it through the Holidays and am starting the New Year out 36 pounds lighter. It was easier than I anticipated. Don't miss the beer, but sure wish I could have had some shrimp. I have had no problems keeping things down. I get adjusted on January 11th and from what I hear, things change. Hopefully the Steelers will be still in the play-offs !!:clap2:
