  1. I had my sleeve done in March of 2013, I was 59, I was a diabetic and taking 14 pain pills a day, I no longer take any diabetic or pain pills, it was the best thing I ever decided to do, I have lost 100 pounds 7 times before, but couldn't keep it off, I am at goal weight now and have been there for a year, I lost 100 pounds in the first year, I would look into having the sleeve and see what options is out there. Good luck!
