I am a young (immature?) 60 year old woman from Michigan. I am waiting for the call from my bariatric center to give me my surgery date. I am hoping my surgery is really soon, but have resigned myself to having it done in January if I have to! Thinking this way will keep me from being disappointed!
I had Cushing's Disease and gained a lot of weight. I lost a lot of weight after my pituitary surgery. In the past 2 years I have had to be on Prednisone and have gained even more weight. I am almost off of the Prednisone - I am tapering my dosage slowly. All of my doctors feel I will be the perfect candidate for gastric sleeve surgery. Wish me luck!
