I find out this upcoming week when mine is!!! I'm excited and nervous!!!

I found out Friday that everything was submitted to the insurance company Thursday. I'm so excited!! I think once I know my date for sure, I will be more motivated. I'm in a funk right now because of some personal stuff and I am looking forward to some positive news.

I'm hoping to have a July 6 date!! That is 3 days before my 40th birthday! I saw someone else was about to be 40 also in July. I don't know what I'm more nervous about, turning 40 or having surgery!! Lol! After rushing to have everything done for a possible June date (which didn't happen), I called the surgery coordinator and she told me that all that was missing was my letter from my PCP. I saw him on May 19!! So I called this morning and asked if it could get faxed over to the surgeon. I couldn't believe it. So the next date that will work for my job will be July 6.

I have been pushed to July. I have tried to get in touch with the coordinator and she has yet to return my phone calls. I have left several messages and she hasn't called back. I just want to make sure she has everything she needs and if she has submitted it or not. Then I found out today that I have an H pylori infection so I am on antibiotics for 2 weeks and 4 weeks of omeprozole. So now I am looking at July 6...3 days before my 40th birthday.

The name of the face book group is Low BMI Friends. Figured that was pretty vague. Lol! I have it where any one can find the group but members can only read the messages. If you are interested in joining it then ask to join and I will approve. After everyone has joined I will make it secret where no one can even find the group unless they are invited.

I'll set it up when I get home. Picking up my son right now.

If you make the group secret no one will see what you post except other members of the group. I know how to make the secret groups if you would like. Then I can invite everyone to join. That wants to join.

My EGD is scheduled for next Thursday the 21, the only problem is I had to move my dietician appt. I hope I get it all done in time. I am shooting for a June date.

I am in too!!! I didn't even finish reading all the posts but I fit in perfectly here!! I am 5 ft tall and weighed 191 at the surgeons office. My husband and friends and coworkers that know are all supportive...my mother is one of those who seems to think I can do it on my own. I even took adipex for 4 months and are 1100 calories a day, and only lost about 15 lbs. i am sitting in the gi docs office right now waiting to see when I can have my scope done. Then all I need is my pre op clearance from my PCP and one more dietician appt (on the 21st) and I then wait the insurance approval game.

I am in a situation at work that I need to be scheduled a certain day. At first it was June 3. Then some other staff made changes and now I need it to be June 1 or I will have to wait until July. I'm hurrying to get everything done so it can be submitted to insurance. But I am getting nervous. Ugh!

I have my prescreen for my EGD on Thursday. I am off work Friday and Monday and I am going to see if I can have it done one of those days so I don't have to take any extra PTO. I hope he can accommodate that.

I will be 40 in July and I am getting nervous about my health. I have tried ww and dieting and it doesn't work.

I've just told her I changed my mind. She is a little bit better. Although I haven't. I am a nurse and I have been thinking about doing something about my weight for a long time. I have just finally gotten the courage to ask.

I'm having mine done at the hospital I work at in Rowlett tx. I'm nervous too and didn't get a warm response from my mother. My bmi is 38 but I have sleep apnea and I am prediabetic.

I'm hoping for June 3rd!!!! I have my psych evaluation done, my nutrition appts set up (1st one on Thursday then 2 weeks later). See the gi dr for an EGD prescreen on the 14th.

It can't be worse than a colonoscopy!! Lol! I have my psych consult next Wednesday and my two nutrition appts set up. All that is left is the endoscopy and a clearance from my PCP. I'm getting excited! It will be cool when I get my date!

Is this forum still active? I am a nurse and have been for 12 years. 4 years med-surg, 8 yrs postpartum and have just started a case management position. I live in a suburb of Dallas and I have just started my process of getting approved for the sleeve.

I have just started my journey but hoping if I get all my requirements done quickly, then I will be able to have mine done in June. It may not happen though. I called my surgeon today and they have sent the referrals to the doc offices that I need to see and they contact me. I'm nervous but ready.
