Helloooo!
I'm J. I'm in my early 20's and the biggest I've been is 400lbs at the age of 18. I've lost 171lbs with diet and exercise in the last 2 years so everybody thinks I'm crazy that I want the WLS now. My mom thinks I look beautiful at 221lbs and if I want to look frail and sickly if I lose more. My sister is surprisingly quiet about it but I know she disapproves. My dad couldn't care less, I could shave my head and pretend I'm a puppy, and he would approve. And I'm afraid I'm letting them in my head. One day I want it then the next day I won't. It's just so frustrating and nerve wrecking. Does everything truly go back to normal after the surgery?
I have till next Wednesday to decide because believe it or not I have scheduled the surgery. The pre op diet isn't so bad(I'm not on a liquid diet, sorry!) I haven't really told anyone just my family and 2 friends (now you guys.) I told work I'm going on "vacation" so that could be adding to my conscious. I don't know what I'm looking for, maybe guidance or maybe just someone to tell me to shut the hell up and woman up.
