  1. JeffO I am going through the same. I had a gastric bypass on 25th April and I'm really struggling with gas. I can't belch for some reason and it's stopping me from drinking much or trying pureed food. I'm a registered nurse too so I'm concerned that I'm making things worse by not drinking enough. It takes me over 90 minutes just to manage the morning meds! How are you feeling today?
  2. Hello all, I'm taking the plunge and writing on here for the first time. It's been a great support already. I am booked in for a gastric bypass RNY on Saturday 25th April and nerves and excitement have kicked in. I'm a mother to a young child so that is playing a huge part in the nerves. I'm excited to be a healthier parent though. Currently at 265lb with a BMI of 47. Really unsure of what I'm expecting to lose, and although I have done the research I still feel unsure of what to expect following the surgery. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Any surgery buddies out there? Thank you. Phew I feel better for writing that down! X
