We'll this rode to recovery has no script but today is a good day finally ready to go home rather I been ready but my rode got a little bumpy.

Good morning........I had surgery 10.19 at 730-am and so far so good. I actually had a hernia repair as well. Pain is manageable and only really feel pain when getting up. I've been using the bathroom like crazy. I've walked 4 times that evening after surgery but had a hard time stay up...... Gas pains I don't know what that is lol makes me want to ask if they used it cuz I haven't had any lol. I do have a hacking thing going on cuz it feels like something is in my throat. So I'll update as I feel more comfortable and up to it. Congratulations to the rest of you guys going in the rest of this week

I emailed Ron's wife sherry and we have spoken twice via email. Last update was he was still in icu and that she will update any major changes... " Were hanging in there Ron is still on the machines and we still don't know when he will be off them but the Dr does say his lungs are getting better and its just going to take time" but that our continue prayers are needed and appreciated that's quote was from a message on 10/15

We been quite quiet so I have a question for those who have gone before you. Do u really get all your message filled at the pharmacy at the hospital and they bring it to u when your discharged? Pain med prescription given by hand script to bring the day of surgery?

Congratulations and prayers with those who go in today. Praying for a speedy recovery and the good Lord take control of your surgeons hands.

That's right for us on October 19th with a 2 week preop diet.... We start tomorrow morning

Well let me know. My situation is a little more hectic. My best friend is getting married on 10/24 and surgery is 10/19 so I'm sure I should take a shake or something with me. Maybe she'll have a soup on the menu but I don't want to not go. I honestly don't know what to do. Any advice

That's great That's my date as well maybe we will see each other in the halls. What time is your surgery? I get my preop on thirsday
