  1. This morning I went to catch the train into work and of course need cold weather gear...my coat and gloves were TOO big! I drove my car and felt as if I was in someone else's; I need to adjust the seat, side mirror and review mirrors. Thank you Jesus!!! HW: 265; PSW: 256; Current: 220 (stalled for 1 week)
  2. Cole, what type of clothing did you take to the hospital? I know they can keep the rooms pretty cold. I didn't know if I should take pajamas or night gown with a robe.
  3. Cole, I'm so glad everything went well for you. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow (Dec. 1). I'm ready to have it all behind me too.
  4. Ok, I'm having trouble capturing my beginning weight on the ticker. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
  5. I would love to come out of surgery not liking coffee. I've been having mainly decaf, but some mornings I want the caffeine.
  6. Congratulations. I'm so happy for you. My date is Dec.1 and I'm so ready. I've been praying a lot, I'm a little concerned about scar tissue from the Lapband...can't wait to get this thing out of me.
  7. WOW!!! I too have the Lap Band and feel that I failed with it, so I'm scared of it happening with the bypass. I'm so ready for this change to come. Like you I know that I have to work at it. People can say what they want but we are discriminated against. I read the success stories and listen to those in the support group and pray that soon I will be one of them. You hang in there and let us BELIEVE that a change is going to come. I'm working on my 10lbs loss before surgery. Don't have a date yet but I hope that will come soon!
