  1. I didn't have a C section, but I did have a hysterectomy. And, for me personally, the post surgery pain was worse for the sleeve. I had a severe reaction to the morphine, so I was only in IV Tylenol. And post surgery, I didn't take the Percocet and just stayed on Tylenol. On the plus side, my Dr. cleared me to drive much earlier than if I had taken the narcotics.
  2. I am from the Northshore and will be having my surgery at Salem Hospital. I don't have a final date yet, I just finished up with all my pre-surgery requirements, (psych exam, cardiac work up, blood work, etc). My surgeon is Dr. Riviera and I love him. He is incredibly patient with me and his office staff are so nice when I call with questions, some of them tremendously lame but they are still gracious. My last appointment with Dr. Riviera he mentioned June for a surgery date. I hate the waiting, I just want it done and over with.
