  1. Well I made an appointment , turns out my doctor made a mistake. I was suppose to return in 6 weeks not 12 months . I had another fill in October. I return in January. Hopefully by then I will be under 190 lbs.
  2. Also I weighed Sunday and no change in my weight. Very frustrating . I watch what I eat and track it.
  3. I definitely agree with you. I like him but this has nothing to do with me liking him or not. I just want to get the results that I hoped for when I decided to have the lap band. And someone that is agressive.
  4. Struggling with weight loss...and I've had a 3rd fill on August 24th..frustrated...
  5. Thank you for replying...I'm going top give it until next month and see how much I lose.
  6. I have had my band since April 15, 2015. I am down 30-31 lbs. I had my 3rd fill on August 20, 2015. I have lost some weight but I still feel like I can eat anything I want. I have a total of 4.25cc, with my last fill being 0.25cc. My doctor said for me to come back in 1 year unless I am having a problem. I am feeling like that is too long and I am not losing the weight that I thought I would lose by now. Another person who had the same surgery (lapband) and same surgeon on the same day has lost more weight ...44 lbs and he told her to return in 8 weeks. Why is that? I am frustrated. 8 weeks and 1 year is a huge difference. What to do? I considered switching doctors altogether...
  7. My current weight is 200.2 ... I am down another size so I am a 14. I continue to exercise most days of the week. I currently am doing 3 meals a day and watching carbs.
  8. I had my 2nd fill two weeks ago. I have lost 5 more lbs. Thank God. I am in a size 16 which is down from the 18. I am looking forward to my 3rd fill!
  9. I have lost weight but it is slow. I increased my exercise and I have Fitnesspal on my phone which allows me to track calories and exercise. I aim for 45-60 minutes 5 days per week and 20 minutes on the weekends. I have had 1 fill. Looking forward for the 2nd fill. I don't have alot of restriction and can pretty much eat everything. I love Panera Bread strawberry poppyseed and chicken salad. I eat Wendy's grilled chicken and remove the top bun or Wendy's small chili. I've switche to whole wheat Pasta too.
  10. Congratulations and thank you!
  11. Thank you all for the support. I've been exercising. I start my diet on the 8th for pre-op. Hopefully that will not be so bad.
  12. I am having surgery on April 15th, 2015. I am having the lap band. I have been overweight most of my life. I am 227lbs with my heaviest between 236-241lbs. I hope I do well with the surgery. I found this site by accident but glad I did. Just needing support . Thanks.
