  4. The gas was pretty bad for me. Im still having issues one week post op. The first few days the gas did not come out which was really painfull but walking helped. It started to pass on day 4. Now I get servier sharp pains in my stomach every once in a while that last for a second or two. The gas ex strips dont help it much but Im sure eventually it will go away.

  6. Congrats! I had my 1 week post op meeting with my doc today and I have only lost 7 pounds. I know its still early but I feel like I could be doing better.
  7. Im experiencing the same thing. Im still on liquids so I dont know If that makes the difference but I can't tell when Im full. I always feel like I can keep going but I usually stop becuse Im scared and in my mind I know Im doing too much. I never felt any neausea or pain from overeating, but I did feel a little unconfortable after a yogurt smoothie once. I think its because I drank it too fast becuase the feeling went away after a few min.
  8. That is a really smart idea! I hope a subway near me will allow it. Thanks!
  9. I think it all depends on your insurance and the bariatric center and what they both require. Im 1 week out. My BMI was around 40 as well. I did not have to do a liquid diet either, just the 1200 cal diet. BUT I did do a 3 day liquid diet right before the surgery anyway just becuase I wanted to be safe and also start shrinking my liver which supposedly makes sugery eaiser.
