I have Cigna. And they denied me because my doctor wrote my letter of necessity on prescription paper. It HAD to be in the exact format they wanted. I had to resubmit the letter. By that time, I had to redo my labs, ekg, and X-rays. Took me seven months. Had my surgery on the 26th of last month. Cigna is picky. Hang in there.

Help! I was sleeved on the 26th of May. I was told that if I didn't have a bowel movement three or four days after to take a laxative. During my post op visit my doc told me that he wanted me to have a bowel movement every other day?!?!? Problem is that twice I've had a problem with constipation, and I mean two major blockages. I was told by the nurse at my surgeons office to take Miralax. Has anyone's else us this problem. I'm starting to regret this sleeve. My friend who has the Lap Band does have this problem. Help!

Hi there! I have Cigna and am going through True Results. They do make u jump through some hoops. My paper work was submitted last month and I'm still waiting to see if I'm approved or not. I should hear something no later than the 10th of April. Good Luck! And hang in there.
