  5. While it is a comfort to know that others are at a stall at the 6 week period, it doesn't make me feel better. When I went to my 6 week appointment, i had only lost 10 lbs in a month for a total of 32 lbs in 8 weeks. Yes, that's a lot of weight in 8 weeks, but emotionally, I can't seem to get past it. its been nearly 3 weeks at a stall. I've been exercising since the 4 week mark. I'm at about 1/4 cup of food and about 700-800 calories a day. I do 64 grams of Protein a day. My one downfall- the Water...I can't seem to get it in. (is this a sabotage?) I don't know if I'm not getting enough calories or too many. My doctor wasn't any help. He likes to get patients in the door, but he leaves much to be desired in the after-care category. Their response to my slow weight loss... 45 minutes of cardio 5 days a week (I'm currently doing 30). I honestly don't think they believe that I'm following the "plan." I don't feel like I have the tools to know what to do differently. How do I know if my calories are too much or not enough? How do I know if my exercise regimen is good? I'm not giving up- I know slow and steady wins the race, but I just can't get my emotional side to accept this.
