I'll get sleeved by Dr Fernando Garcia next monday! Getting nervous here...

I'm from Montreal and will be taking two 3 to 4 hour flights to get to San Diego. I bought some personnally fitted compression socks for the trip...I'm also worried about the blood clots!!!

Wow...you guys are sooo courageous. I started my pre-op diet on the 6th....I've lost 4,5 pounds so far! Compared to you, that's nothing... It was really very, very, very hard the first 3 days. Now, it's a bit better but I'm beginning to feel a bit less energetic....I still have a week to go on the pre-op diet. Proud2beme, how was the surgery?

Wow, thanks everyone for sharing. I just heard from my coordinator and it's seems I will be allowed to eat a bit (actual real food instead of shakes only) during the pre-op....As long as I don't eat more than 1000 cal per day! I feel like a kid at Christmas So happy!

I will be starting my pre-op diet next week (6t)...I a so nervous. I thinks it's the most anticipied step for me. I HATE being hungry! As speacillay at night before bedtime. I get angry about it and cannot fall asleep.... How was it for you guys?

Hello All... I will be sleeved in Tijuana by Dr. Fernando Gacia on may 18th. I would like to know if other Mexico sleevers have bought Medical Tourism Insurance policy. I am considering it....in case anything happens... I'm interested in your thoughts on that.... Thanks for your input

Hello...I'm a newbie here. I have decided to go with the gastric sleeve as a weight loss solution. It seems to have Enlightened the lifes of many peaople. Howerver, there's a two-three years wainting list for the procedure here in Quebec, Canada. I am considering the Mexico option. Has anyone of you ever had the experience (bad or good)? Following witch criteria did you choose your surgeon?
