    2 Tablespoons of Food. Really?

Yes, and also with friends who have also been sleeved. (We are all healthcare professionals.) Everyone progresses at different rates, and the spectrum of "normal" can be pretty broad. The important thing to remember is that fluids, protein, and supplements are the main focus, and the rest will come. That said, I do agree with you that eating VERY slowly is extremely important, but my sleeve certainly reminds me to do that!

    2 Tablespoons of Food. Really?

I'm told that it is normal. I am about five weeks post-op, and I can't tolerate much, either. I have found that the easiest way to get my protein in is with the protein shakes (of which I am heartily tired) and Greek yogurt (which I don't really like, but it goes down easily and keeps me full.) I use the Premier shakes (30g protein each) and Oikos Triple Zero yogurt (15g protein). Regular food smells wonderful, but two bites and I'm done!

    Back to work soon- tiredness?

I was sleeved March 16, and I am still exhausted most of the time. My team has told me I'm supposed to be walking 2 miles a day, but I couldn't do that preop when I was eating! How am I supposed to do that now? I have no energy. Even taking a shower or doing dishes requires a rest afterwards. Plus I've had to deal with a funeral, a wedding, and a fender-bender since I had the surgery. I think I need a vacation from my sick leave!

Mince is chopped meat (like hamburger, ground round, ground turkey, etc.)
