I'm trying to be patient - act like I'm not in a hurry to look at my phone for miss calls or voice messages. It's been five days since my PCP messaged me and said that he sent in a referral to bariatrics. But I feel like the days are going tremendously slower and now I'm starting to worry that perhaps they won't allow me into the program for some illogical reason.
Hashtag worry wart.
I did the two hour introductory surgery class and talked to my pcp. He said he sent a referral in to the bariatric department. I'm a bit confused with this process especially since reading the process of different heath care providers and Kaiser regions.
I did my course at San Francisco and waiting for a phone call from bariatrics Richmond to start the program. Are you going to the over view or the program?
Tomorrow is my first initial step by taking the Weight Loss Surgery Overview course.
If you have Kaiser, what should I expect from this class? What was the next step and did you need a refferal to that next step?
