@ Stacey458 yeah I'm a week and a day post op and just got moved to full liquids... any time i eat a pureed soup i get really tight then the gas pain. I can't wait for this to pass. Makes eating very uncomfortable

One of the reasons i had my vgs is because i read so many studies about how is something like 99% effective in alleviating pcos/ syndrome x symptoms. All i know is 5 days after my sleeve i started a period after not having one for 4 years.

I always use my home scale to judge and log my weight. Mostly because i weigh right after my morning "business" and shower but before i eat. I'm always lighter on it.

Yay! Me too! Driving around. Still a little sore but down 30 lbs from high weight!

Well i am only 7 days post op but have had pcos for years... i stated a period 4 days post op after not having one for 4 years. Needless to say my hubs has been warned no fun until i go get on bc!!! I just had the sleeve

My problem is my niece. She is only 8 and has to be hitting 150 lbs and she is short. I want to grab her mother (who is big into the idea that she would rather be a good mother than try and lose weight) and tell her what its like being the fat kid in high school and the huge girl at college. But how to go about it? I just can't help and think that one day her daughter is going to be very upset that mom and dad didn't help her when they could have.

I too am having a lot of body pain. I'm amazed by people who say they were shopping or back to normal in three days. I'm 6 days out and actually hurt more than i did on day 4

I also went thru true results to start. But they took so long i ended up calling my doc (dr smith) office. They retested everything ( i did not do an egd with true results). I honestly am not sure what true results does except act like a referral service.

@@amchurch12000 no need to be scared. You've been cleared and your doc knows what they are doing. You will be tender and don't be afraid to call your doc. Just keep your eyes on the prize!

The week prior i went to a few of my favorite places, had my favorites dishes. Unfortunately my last meal gave me food poisoning! What a great way to start liquids!

I totally understand. I was sleeved on 3-18. I had all my post op foods here but now i can't stand any of them. I'm getting no protein and only about 30 oz liquid. Prior to surgery i was not a sandwich eater but now all i want is a freaking club sandwich!!! Oh well just a few more weeks!

Hey ladies. I'm 5 days post op and just got my period. Now that may not seem that crazy except i haven't had a period in years. Anyone else experience this?

Quick question. I am 5 days post op and yesterday was a great day. No real pain just soreness at large incision site. Today tho i am in severe pain to the right and lower than my large incision which is on my right side. I had gotten off my prescription meds and on regular Tylenol but now i can barely move. Normal or should i be concerned?

Sleeved on the 18th as well. Finality starting to feel better. Still in a bit of pain but much better than yesterday. Lost 2 lbs too but i know i have swelling weight. Getting excited now. Down 22lbs from highest weight

Sleeved the same day. Are you still in pain?

I am three days post op and still very sore on my right side where they removed the stomach. Hurts to get up and down. Short of breath. Is this normal? You guys make it sound like i should be feeling better than this? I walk about 7 minutes every hour.

I started mixing one oz of isopure with two ounces of the Ensure protein, then mix in 1 tbsp of unflavored protein powder. Gives me 8 grams or so of protein in 3 oz of liquid. Of course I'm only two days post surgery.

I am 1 day post op and my Dr said 1 oz every 10 - 15 minutes. He gave me a 30ml cop (like a NyQuil measure) and I fill that and sip. I got in about 24 oz in last night between 6 and 10. So to me that helps. I also pput an alert on my cell to beep ne every 10 minutes or so to remind me to drink

In pre op now! Wish me luck!

Luckily my stall broke.. I reached my 20 LB weight loss goal for pre surgery. Yay!

Tomorrow's the day! Hope I can sleep tonight
