  1. I am 6 months post op and things are wonderful... except... I cannot stop belching. Please let me explain. It DOES NOT matter what I eat, when I eat, how much I eat, or if I eat at all. This is not only after I eat. The belching is constant and all the time. I do not use straws, drink carbonation, or smoke. I take activated charcoal, fennel seeds, and a prescription probiotic. I have called my weight loss center/surgeons office and was told that they have only seen it twice and it went away on its own. This start 2-3 months after surgery and has not gone away. My chest hurts, it is embarrassing, and tiring. I don't know what to do. Has anyone been through this? Has anything helped? Does it go away? I cannot live with this. When I say excessive I get maybe 45 seconds in-between burps. This is ALL day EVERY day. I stress the issue because people either don't believe me (think I am exaggerating) or don't understand the full extent of it. I am debating seeing a Gastroenteritis. Please help!
