  2. I had double hernia repair in 2014 and my surgeon is still proceeding with the RNY June 10th. It might just be the surgeon's discretion on what he wants to do but its doable to have both. I've also had my gallbladder removed and have had ulcers.

  4. Hi. I was in the same situation. My first surgeon must be getting kick backs from the sleeve because that's all he pushed. Even though he knew I had terrible GERD, double hernias, and no gall bladder. I went to another surgeon for a second opinion and he went over all the procedures in depth and told me that the RNY would be best for someone with GERD. He said the sleeve sometimes makes it worse. I'm glad I had this information and my date is getting close as well on June 10. Congrats on your new life.
