    so disappointed

My insurance said the same thing but my doctor stepped in and did a peer to peer. I have chronic head/neck issues and have to have the option of anti- inflammatory meds. I have also had a TIA and will be on aspirin forever. If you have anything that requires those meds, they may be able to help get the sleeve approved. I am so glad I had the sleeve done. I am 2 months out and feel really good. It wasn't a cake walk for sure but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
  2. I was so hungry the first month. It was so hard to tell the difference between hunger, digesting, and gas pain. It all hurt for me. I finally started fiber gummies and it helped a lot. Ask if you can have those. It helped with not feeling hungry all the time. I could not tell if I was full until I had chest pain, then I would throw up. I still struggle with eating slow enough but thankfully I rarely have vomiting issues any more. You may find that certain foods will no longer work for you. Potatoes are a sure fire vomit food for me, even when just in something. Good news is that I no longer crave french fries. I got over that really fast! Again, fiber gummies saved my sanity. Good luck.
