They wouldn't give me a PCA but they did give me some wonderful pain killer cocktails that kicked my but...I loved them

I just had mine yesterday 3/16/15. I'm still in the hospital. The only complaint I have is the discomfort in my gut. Md said its from the air they pump you up with in order to get to the organs. My pain has fluctuated between 5-7. I was super anxious about the surgery but someone I know once said. "I've lost 100 lbs a 100 times. It's one of the hardest thing they ever had to but it was worth it...so hang in there

I was told if I HAD to drink diet ginger ale it had to be flat, as bubbles bother the new pouch.

I was told chew all the sugar-free gum you want JUST DONT SWALLOW it cuz it could block opening.

I am so very excited for all of you. Ian literally in my hospital after having Roux En Y surgery yesterday. I am looking forward to doing all the above activities mentioned. Thanks for the support and keep up the good work!!!!
