  1. I am so grateful for your responses. Thank you. I did call the office yesterday and the nurse and dietician both said to get back on the liquids (which I did). Also, if I was keeping water down, then I should be ok. I have my 2week post op appt with the doc on 4/23, so hope the liquids help appease that mistake. It was a huge lesson learned. Thanks again.
  2. Thank you. I will call tomorrow.
  3. Hi everyone, I am in tears as I type this, so I need some feedback from you all. I was banded on 4/6, everything went well that day, even the next 4 days. Then came a 'stressor/trigger' and I started to eat normal food. I didn't eat to the point of vomiting, but it was VERY uncomfortable. I know I am supposed to be on liquids for 2 weeks post. Should I try to go back to liquids to not harm myself? Did I harm myself, that's my biggest fear, that I ruined this.
  4. Hey Cherie, Sorry to be redundant, I 'live' in North Aurora. Here's my email. 2minnihan@comcast.net
  5. Hey Cherie, I wish I was better with this app, but not yet. Here's my email, send me a message. 2minnihan@comcast.net
  6. Hi Alwayssmiling ???? I love in North Aurora. Just banded on 4/6 and had a great first week, but the weekend hit and I am eating regular food. How are you doing this?
  7. Hi Alwayssmiling. ???? It looks like you had your surgery on 2/27/15? How are you doing? Did you have Dr Woodard?
  8. Sorry, sent that too soon. My post was to say Thanks. I am so happy I found this. Can't wait to post some 'firsts' of my own. ????
  9. Thank you to TheProfessor. I am so grateful to have read your post on 'firsts' it made my day. I am getting banded April 6, and I'm so excited. Almost to the 2 week pre-diet, and have been trying to do it early. Why? I'm trying to prepare for the hard first few days of that. However, have failed each and every day, mainly due to a horrible headache, that goes away as soon as I eat something. BI finally realized, this is why I chose the LapBand. The hunger issues I can't seem to get a handle on, and Mainly to feel good/proud about my health/appearance.
  10. Hi everyone. My name is Sue. I am working with Dr Woodard at CDH. Just finished my preop stuff, waiting for psychologist report to get sent. I will be at the 2/23 support group at CDH. Can't wait to meet a lot of you and hear your stories.
  11. Hi there. So great to find someone else I can talk to about this. I am going to be banded in early March. My name is Sue. How did your preop process go?
  12. Good luck to you on 2/10. I am in the preop process. How long did your preop process take? Did you need to change anything before they gave you a date?
