  1. a few questions being from RI I am asking here..... how long were you off work? I am a nurse do some lifitng but might be able to work around that...... pre op diet...... finding as I get ready for this struggling with my eating any one how did you eat durning the waiting phase....... night workers? how do u adjsut your diet? LOL all not really on the right spot but getting excited and looking for local input:thumbup:
  2. Getting there I am getting the pre ops done. I have BCBS fedral which pays well. I have had the scope, psy evauluation and the other test scheduled over the next month. I dont wish for surgery till after the new year r/t not being able to take off work. Dr Geovonni (sp?) is my doctor and she is great. I am getting excited. I tried to get approved 4 or 5 years ago and got turned down and took my current job for the insurance.
  3. The doctors office has reasured em this week I ahve one of the ebst possible coverages............cross your fingers the journey begins.
  4. Looking for lap in Rhode Island....... any suggestions and thoughts of one doctor over another? which gets you processed faster? or better with inusrance claims? changed jobs recently and have bcbs fedral and am told it pays well........tried a few years ago with a different insurance and got no where? :help:
  5. I called the local doctor and found out bcbs fedral strandard is good about approval........was very encouraging. I go to a seminar in a few weeks and they are scheduling first appointments in jan so not a bad wait. So hoping, tried for 6 months in 2003 but had a clause that said no weight loss surgery with that company.
  6. I now have fbcbs standard.....tried in the past with atnea to be approved with 3 turn downs. I am trying again...BMI of 43 are there any requirements such as documenation of 6 months of diets ect?
