  1. I'm two weeks post op. I had read to take pads with you to the hospital because of the trauma your body will go through. Glad I did - I spotted for several days. My surgeon had my take my BC pills still. Now 2 weeks later I forgot to take it 1x and I have my full blown period. All sounds pretty normal with WLS. Glad I have the pills because I'd go crazy if it lasted more than 5-7 days.
  2. I was a bad patient and did not use the spirometer - surgery 1/20. But my best friend for the first 2 weeks were gas-x strips which helped my shoulder pain. Also walking really eased my stomach/shoulder pain.
