Just got my insurance approval. Way excited!!! Will be Sleeved in March!!!

I have struggled with my weight since I gave birth to my two boys. I gained 90 pounds and have never lost it. That was 16 years ago. Just added year by year. I was diagnosed with cancer the same year my mom died of cancer a year after birth of kids. It was difficult year. My husband also had a heart attack. More than 1 person should have to deal with in such a short time. It took me years to recover but It has been 14 years cancer free and it's finally time to work on me and my weight. I have tried many many many times to lose. It's hasnt worked. I'm the heaviest I have ever been. I have so many health problems because of my weight. I feel old and im only 43 years young. I want to live again not just exist. I started on this WLS journey in October and I was just approved by insurance today!!!! I will be sleeved in March. I can't wait to use this tool to help me be me!!!

I'm a RN in Philadelphia. Hopefully will be sleeved March or april. Paperwork going in to insurance. Yahoo. Cant wait to transform this journey into my journey.

Hi. My name is Karen. I hope to be sleeved in march or april. They are submitting my paperwork Tuesday. Time will tell. it would be great to have a buddy because besides my husband, I haven't told anyone. You always hear the comment that it is the easy way out and it is so not. I can't deal with all that. The struggle of all these years being overweight. I cannot wait for the date of my journey to truly begin. My bmi 43.3 My journey started down this path because I couldn't fit on a ride with my nephew. I was so embarrassed. I also have arthritis degenerative disk disease, severe pain in my knee, and just generally feel old, I had colon cancer in past. I can't do the things I used to and it makes me sad. I finally want to live my life again. You are beautiful and you are strong. You can do this for yourself!

I met with surgeon in end of Oct. I will be done last MWM on Feb 10 and then everything (all test results)get submitted for approval. Does anyone know how long from here to surgery?
