  9. I am wondering what are some good lactose free Protein shake options? I have the HMR 70 recommend by my weight loss clinic and that is pretty good. Not sure if there are some other good options that are not sweet or flavorless to add to Soups.
  10. It was an exaggeration... know that I will be able to eat eventually. It will just be different which is not bad. My old eating habits are what put in this position. I am really nervous but also excited. Just gotta get through the next 2 weeks!
  11. I saw the surgeon yesterday and got my surgery date 3/13. Yikes! I have informed myself of the procedure, read so many blog posts, watched video's on youtube. I have done all the pre-op and am starting my 2 week pre-surgery diet in 2 days. I have heard all the pros and very few cons and I believe I am prepared. I cannot help but question....am I really spending a boat load of money(no insurance coverage for bariatric) to have 75+ percent of my stomach removed and never be able to eat again (yes, I know this is a bit dramatic)? Breaking up with food will not be easy. I guess having anxiety is normal...I am trying not to freak out.
  12. I am also new here. Just finished all the pre-op evaluations and have been approved for surgery. Hoping to have a surgery date soon. Good luck!
