  1. I don't know about contact sports but i do ride off road motorcycle often. I wasn't sure how it was going work. I got banded on august 27 2007 and have rode since 4 weeks after. I have been trying to get 70 miles+ a week since. At first my stomack/kidney area hurt but i believe that was because of no kidney belt. I thought they didn't make them in a big enough size. I found one made by thor that fits. I was in a 50 mile XC race a week ago and had no problems. It is amazing how much better the bike handles after losing 60 pounds. I signed up to race in a XC series that starts in march so my goal is another 60 ponds down by then. So in conclusion go rip it up on your dirt bike and have a good time:bandit
