  1. @@Var006 I'm feeling great so far. Started full liquids tonight. Felt like heaven! You got this! Check in when you can!
  2. I swear by GENEPRO unflavored. In only 1 TBS you get 30 g of Protein in it. I can mix it in juice, G2, or any sort of flavored Water (Crystal Light, etc.). I got it on Amazon I think for $38. I'm going to try it tonight in my first full liquid Soup. Since I already had 1 20 oz drink with it in there, if I can tolerate it in the soup I'll probably only eat 1/2, then I will be able to get 45 g of protein in, 1 week post-op. Hope this helps!
  3. I was sleeved in Mexico on 3/3. I flew in that morning and had surgery about 6 p.m. that night. I spent two nights in the hospital. The day I d/c to the hotel (which was actually just another wing of the hospital) I had my drain and IV taken out early in the morning. So by day 3 I was up for an excursion to the beach and by day 4 I flew from Mexico to MI (a total of about 12+ hour travel day). I noticed a HUGE difference by day 4. Day 3 I felt well enough to move around, but still had the tight feeling (gas) from surgery and when I drank anything. I plan on going to my PC back home for any necessary care locally, but my team from MX has checked in every day.
  4. Unjury has a chicken soup protein. It helped me as it was a clear liquid, has 23 g protein and preop it satisfied my hunger bc it's warm. I also like Genepro unflavored protein powder to mix in Gatorade, juice or flavored water.
  5. Go get em. You got this!
  6. I was sleeve 3/3 so late tonight marks 1 week post op. Gets better each day, I still struggle with getting enough liquids in without my body feeling full of air. It's not so much a normal full in my opinion. I do get tired too but not too sore, just aches and pains here and there. Congrats to all who are on the losers bench with me and making room for the rest of you!
  7. How are you doing @@cassie_vsg ??
  8. Congrats! I'm still trying to figure out how to get it all in. Liquids, broth? etc. I don’t know how you're getting by with no scale, I'm a tad obsessed. Look fwd to it each morning. Moving on to my phase 2 tomorrow. I never thought I would be so excited for yogurt or soup!!
  9. At the hotel now what a step up! No drain, no IV. Feeling ok! .
  10. Well I'm sleeved finally! About 36 hours out now. Passed the leak test and just got my drain out. Moving to hotel in about 3 hours and our driver is coming to take us to the beach and a little shopping later.
  11. I had mine the day I flew in, it was great. One less night to worry! Good luck tmrw!
  12. Well Im officially sleeved. About 15 hrs post op and just passed leak test. Hello Gatorade!
  13. I'm here at Florence, about 14 hours post op and just passed the leak test. Anyone else out there, how are you all?

  16. I don't even feel that nervous (yet). More of a feeling of just wanting it done.
